As a Country Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing Candor’s operations in Finland. You might have a background in engineering, but you could also be equipped with some other relevant education. In your track-record sales and account management related success stories would preferably dominate. You have the skills and motivation to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, set targets, and create business plans. In the Country Manager role, existing key customers would deserve your attention, but the main focus would be on developing new business opportunities in line with the Candor group strategy. You would collaborate closely with the group Sales & Marketing Manager and have a solid reporting line to the company CEO.

- Leading and managing Candor’s operations in Finland. Development of an effective execution of company’s strategic objectives and business plans. Ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to grow market share and revenue in chosen strategic segments.
- Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities, establishing long-term partnerships, and expanding the customer base in the chemical and metal industry.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, industry associations and community representatives. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and relevant forums.
- Providing regular reports and updates on the country’s performance, market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, chemistry, chemical engineering or in any other related field; master’s degree would be advantageous
- Proven experience in new sales and key account management in an industrial setting with focus on solution selling potentially combining equipment and service, preferably in chemical/metal sectors
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving profitable sales growth and achieving business targets
- Knowledge of the chemical and metal industry, including market trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements preferred, but not a must
- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to build and lead a small team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
