Data Engineer
Viking Line invests in becoming more data-driven and an important part of that work is to refine the large amount of data that is generated daily in the business into useful information and make it available for automatic and manual decisions. Your main duties include maintaining and creating data flows between transactional systems and analytical data models and applications. You are responsible in a team for efficient and scalable data storage solutions and data integrations in the infrastructure services available, which includes both local environments and cloud solutions.- data modeling and data integration

- cloud environments, for example Google Cloud or Azure
- SQL and Python
- problem solving with a genuine interest in data and its use

We expect that you have a technical university education in IT as a basis and that you as a person are curious and constantly want to develop. You are expected to speak and write good Swedish and English, knowledge of Finnish is an advantage. Location for the position is either Mariehamn, Helsinki, Turku or Stockholm.
