Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Finnish speaking Chief Accountant colleague to be part of our exciting journey to develop, improve and streamline our financial processes! The position is located in Espoo, Stockholm or Copenhagen.

Your main area of responsibility will be corporate accounting for our three Finnish entities. You will work closely with your accounting colleagues in the Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as coordinate activities with our global shared service center in India.

You are eager to understand and learn about the business, have full control over your entities numbers and communicate actively in your role.
The role will start according to agreement and the position is permanent.

What will you do:
  • You will execute monthly and quarterly closing, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with IFRS
  • You’ll work with Balance sheet reconciliations, Annual report, income tax, and tax reporting
  • Coordinate Balance Sheet Review meetings, both statutory and Group Accounts/IFRS
  • Preparation of financial statements according to schedule
  • Coordinate and drive the external audit with internal and external stakeholders for the assigned legal entities
  • Analyzing of financial information and summarizing financial status
  • Help lead the implementation of best practices to simplify and standardize our processes
  • Participate in projects, system enhancements and ad hoc analyses
What will help you to be successful in this role:
You have a master’s degree in economics or equivalent with a focus on accounting. You have previous professional experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role in a global organization. It is an advantage if you have been involved in developing and improving processes before.

You have good knowledge of and experience with SAP. You are fluent in both English and Finnish. Proficient knowledge of Excel and MS tools is important.
