We are crafting a brand-new cloud-native transport automation product that uses AI and machine learning to provide advanced analytics and automation for IP, microwave, and optical fronthaul networks.
We are looking for a Frontend Developer who wants to be part of this journey together with a highly experienced team. Our people are passionate about what they do – committed to making communication available for everyone.
What you will do
In this role you have an opportunity to plan, design, test, deploy, support and maintain solutions that will contribute to the new product. Together with your agile team, you are ready to tackle challenges and create new solutions from customer requirements. You are confident in your technical skills and have good written & verbal communication, and you actively share information. We believe you have a curious mind for learning and trying out new things, as well as finding creative solutions. You have a great passion for your work and always try to do things better. As the product is in its early stages, you will be in a great position to influence the fundamental design aspects and pave the way for the future iterations of the product, while using modern tools & ways of working.
You will bring
- Minimum three years of professional software development experience
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Security and Cloud Computing, or related technical field
- Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Practical experience of at least one of the following libraries: Angular, ReactJS, or React Native
- Experience in HTML, REST APIs, CSS, and its preprocessors
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, databases, and software design principles
- A drive for continuous learning and professional development
Seen as an advantage:
- Experience with HTML5 canvas graphics and/or WebGL, and animations
- Experience in User Interface design, wireframing, and tools like Storybook and Figma
- Good understanding of version control (git), CI/CD and software quality assurance principles, with keen interest in test automation and scripting
Note:
We are working in a hybrid setup, combining remote working days and office days in Jorvas, Finland.
